What's New
Welcome to my little galery.
I do not pretend to be a professional photographer, just someone who enjoys photography.
I come from a family of camera buffs and always wanted to join the 35mm club.
In June of 2009, I purchased my Canon and started exploring the possibilities.
Due to my husband's death in 2010, I did not do much for about a year until my niece's wedding in 2011.
I picked up my camera once again to rediscover the view through my lense.
The couple had hired a professional so I did what I enjoy the most, capturing the moments between the professional shots.
I am a bit of a voyeur!
In September of 2011, I was asked to assist at my nephew's wedding and enjoyed their day.
But there is nothing like staging stills. I like to think that I am creating a canvas. I can, and have, spend hours creating the scene.
More recently, I have purchased a few new lenses and some other gizmos to assist with lighting. Still playing.
In 2012, the year of growth, I finally took the training wheels (auto) off.
There are hits and misses but opportunity to learn and grow.
I am searching through my archives and choosing my favourite pics.
